About the journal

Court Green is a poetry journal published annually in association with the English Department at Columbia College Chicago and is edited by Lisa Fishman, Arielle Greenberg, Tony Trigilio, and David Trinidad. Each issue features a dossier on a special topic or theme. The first issue, Spring 2004, features a dossier on film. The second issue, Spring 2005, features a dossier on the poet Lorine Niedecker. The third issue, Spring 2006, features a dossier on bouts-rimés. The fourth issue, Spring 2007, features a dossier on political poetry. The fifth issue, 2008, features a dossier on the poet Sylvia Plath. The sixth issue, 2008, features a dossier on Letters.

Court Green is a recipient of a 2008 Illinois Arts Council Literary Award.

Congratulations to Larry Janowski, recipient of a 2008 Illinois Arts Council Literary Award for his poem, "No Hold Barred" which appeared in Court Green 4.
